Ratopati (Nepal): Nagoya talks push timely SAG preparations

Nepal’s Ratopati covered the South Asian Olympic Council coordination meeting held in Nagoya on the sidelines of the 20th Asian Games, chaired by NOC Nepal president Jeevan Ram Shrestha.

The report says Pakistan reaffirmed hosting from 3 to 11 April 2027, and that member nations discussed athlete/team preparation timelines, entry deadlines and the Chefs de Mission meeting — urging countries to advance preparations on time.

Shrestha’s call for a regular SAG cycle and stronger regional cooperation was a central theme in the Kathmandu write-up.
