Himalayan Times: Nepal NOC confirms April dates and 28 sports

Nepal’s Himalayan Times reported the Nepal Olympic Committee’s confirmation that the 14th South Asian Games will run from 3–11 April 2027 in Pakistan, following the SAOC Executive Committee meeting in Islamabad.

The Kathmandu report lists all seven expected nations — Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka — and publishes the full 28-sport programme agreed for the edition.

It also records the Games theme “Unity in South Asia, Strength in Sports” and slogan “One Spirit, One Region, One Vision,” and names Nepal’s delegation at the Islamabad talks, led by NOC president Jeevan Ram Shrestha.
