Nepal NOC: all member nations committed to 14th SAG

After the Islamabad SAOC meetings, Nepal Olympic Committee president Jeevan Ram Shrestha said he expects the 14th South Asian Games to go ahead in the agreed timeframe, with participation from all member nations including India — barring unavoidable circumstances.

Shrestha noted that India’s delegation joined the Pakistan-hosted meeting online for diplomatic reasons, while attending in person when SAOC meets elsewhere. He also restated Nepal’s interest in hosting a permanent SAOC secretariat in Kathmandu as a neutral venue.
